Reaching for Heaven with Wood and Hype
I completely lost it watching this one, and it easily takes an 8/10 for me. Cartman accidentally drinking Kenny’s ashes thinking it was chocolate milk powder is hands down one of the most hilariously unhinged things I have ever seen on television.
Bringing Saddam Hussein back into the mix completely caught me off guard, and the sharp spoofing of post-9/11 political panic and WMD misinformation hit all the right notes. Watching the entire town get swept up in a corporate media circus just to build a literal wooden ladder to heaven had me laughing out loud the whole time.
