A Stronger Episode That Gets the Momentum Right
IMDb rating: 8/10
I really enjoyed the opening of this episode. The assassination attempt at Roddy’s flat and the street chase right after kicked things off with great energy, and I liked how it introduced our potential villains… who, surprise, surprise, sounded like Russians.
Overall, this felt like a step up from the premiere. Shirley’s brutal brawl and Lamb’s usual tricks kept things grounded, while the political conspiracy in the background picked up some much-needed momentum. What I loved most was the ending. Diana Taverner placing Slough House on total lockdown leaves the team isolated, cut off, and right in the firing line.
7.5/10: It wraps up a stronger hour that sets up the rest of the season nicely.
