The Disabled Toilet Escalation That Broke Me
IMDb rating: 9/10
This is, without a doubt, the best episode I’ve seen in this series, or honestly, anywhere else in a long time.
It starts as a great setup with the gay musical, but the moment Roy ducks into the disabled toilet, the show shifts into absolute peak comedy. The agonising slowness of the handicapped lift combined with Roy’s sheer panic and hilarious facial expressions had me literally ROFLing.
The theatre staff’s overly sympathetic looks and the way they handle the guests are brilliant. And the “Irish” trope? Flawless. Jerome aggressively pulling that poor guy out of his wheelchair at the end was the perfect, unhinged cherry on top. I cannot stop laughing just thinking about it.
9.5/10: The writing is razor-sharp, the escalation is flawless, and it delivers the kind of relentless, no-filler humour I crave.
