Pure Cartman
I found this one interesting more than great.
Cartman gets left off Kyle’s birthday trip to Casa Bonita and immediately goes full psycho to fix it. The whole scheme is pure Cartman: selfish, elaborate, and completely without conscience. The episode spends most of its time building, rebuilding, and underlining exactly who he is.
I liked watching the plan spiral and the final mad dash through the restaurant is funny, but it never rises above standard South Park fare for me.
6.5/10: It’s a solid Cartman showcase that does what it sets out to do without surprising me much. Enjoyable enough while it lasts, just not one of the stronger episodes of the season.
