A Slow Start Before the Stakes Rise
IMDb rating: 7/10
The first half of this episode felt a little slow, with the investigation taking time to build momentum. However, the second half picked up the tension considerably, and the various threads began to come together in a way that made the larger conspiracy feel much more threatening.
What I particularly liked was how the episode kept expanding the scale of the problem, moving beyond manipulated footage to show just how vulnerable the authorities themselves have become.
By the end, the series felt properly poised for the second half of the season, with both the magnitude of the conspiracy and the stakes for the main characters significantly raised. It may not have been as consistently gripping as the previous episode, but the stronger second half made up for the slower start.
7/10: This was a solid episode that has left me interested in seeing how the story develops from here.
