Poo, Profanity, Perfect Chaos
Ep 15 “Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics” is absurdly over-the-top hilarious… even by South Park standards.
The concept alone is genius: a full episode of warped Christmas carol spoofs, rude to every religion, race, and region, hosted by Mr. Hankey from his sewer fireplace.
My top three segments: “Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo” (pure chaotic joy), “Merry F*king Christmas” (Garrison’s forced global celebration is brutal), and the Jesus vs. Santa lounge medley (two icons trading ego-driven verses).
And that Star Wars-style program title & “Fighting the frizzies, at eleven”? Perfect bootleg-era homage. No plot, no pretense, just musical satire firing on all cylinders. Kenny gets crushed by a chandelier, Hitler sings “O Tannenbaum,” Cartman flubs “O Holy Night”… it all works because it doesn’t try to be anything but dumb-smart and unapologetic. 8.5/10 for me.
