Ep 16 “Are You There God? It’s Me, Jesus” nails the awkwardness of menstruation and zero sex ed… Cartman freaking over anal bleeding, Kyle lying to fit in, Stan popping hormone pills and growing a beard.
The Y2K satire stays sharp without overexplaining. But the best part? Kyle, hopped up on hormones, asking God his question – pure, dumb, perfect. And Rod Stewart as a frail, incontinent has-been? OMG, that spoof killed me.
God’s tetra-morph reveal, Kenny’s tampon death, the crowd turning on Jesus… it all works because it doesn’t try to be deep. Just funny, weird, and unapologetic. 8/10 for me.
