The Brilliant, Sharp Contrast of the Afghan Doppelgängers
I think this is a very good, historically significant episode, even if I didn’t find it quite as completely hilarious as some people make it out to be.
For me, the strongest aspect was the brilliant overall concept. I loved how they handled the Afghan kids, showing how they actually feel about Americans invading them in plain sight, which added a great layer of satirical perspective.
The Looney Tunes parody during the climax was also incredibly well-executed, perfectly capturing that classic, vintage cartoon slapstick energy.
7.5/10: It might not be the funniest half-hour of the season for me, but I really appreciate how they managed to channel such intense, raw real-world anxiety into something so entertaining.
