Cavemen, Breasts, and Primal Middle School
I found this episode so hilarious because it takes a completely realistic middle-school dynamic and ramps it up in true, wacky South Park fashion.
Watching the boys completely lose their minds and regress into violent, gorilla-noising cavemen over Bebe’s sudden development had me rolling on the floor. Cartman’s bizarre basement sub-plot mimicking The Silence of the Lambs with his dolls added an extra layer of brilliant psychological comedy.
It easily earns an 8/10 from me, though it missed out on peak status because the resolution felt a bit weaker than the phenomenal setup.
