Exorcisms, Pot Roasts, and Fake Mediums
I loved the psychic A-plot and the brilliant showdown between Stan and John Edward. While the Cartman and Chef plot felt a bit confusing and all over the place at times, the Scottish exorcism sequence with Chef’s parents totally made up for it with pure comedic gold.
Watching John Edward get taken down a peg for preying on grieving families is deeply satisfying. Stan standing up and calling out these fraudulent mediums as total con artists hits every right note.
The whole episode delivers plenty of LOL moments, from the ridiculous cold-reading exposes to the alien spaceship finale. It is a fantastic, razor-sharp conclusion to the multi-part arc that targets fake psychics with absolute precision.
Overall, 8.5/10 for its fearless satire and non-stop entertainment value.
