Stem Cells and Street Turf Wars
Timmy shouting his own name never gets old, and watching him accidentally start an inner-city street gang is peak comedy.
I admit the Christopher Reeve stem cell storyline felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but they somehow stick the landing by twisting it into pure absurdity.
The clash between real Los Angeles gang members and disabled kids from Colorado delivers non-stop laughs while digging into surprisingly sharp themes about mobs, status, and physical exploitation.
7.5/10: a notch below the season opener’s sheer brilliance, but it still packs plenty of clever punch.
