The Chronological Journey Begins Here
The Acolyte is my starting point for watching the entire Star Wars run, movies or TV series, animation or live action, in perfect chronological order. Having spent plenty of time with the High Republic Marvel comics, I was excited to see this era finally jump to the screen.
This first chapter does a decent job setting the table, even if it lacks the massive scale or gritty polish seen in shows like Andor. The mystery is simple but effective enough to keep me curious about where these two sisters end up.
It was a treat to see Carrie-Anne Moss bring some gravity to the screen, even if her time was short. While the production values feel a bit uneven and nothing has truly blown me away yet, it’s a solid enough start to the journey.
I’m buckled in to see how this puzzle unfolds.
