Ep 4 “Day” continues the trend of being perfectly watchable without ever truly breaking into greatness.
The journey through the jungle feels a bit like filler at times, maintaining that steady but unremarkable pace we’ve seen so far. However, the final few minutes finally inject some much-needed adrenaline into the plot. The arrival of the masked figure is a genuine highlight and offers the first real sense of danger the series has produced.
It’s a promising cliffhanger that suggests the show might finally be ready to stop “setting the table” and actually serve the main course. While the bulk of the episode is another standard entry, that ending makes me hopeful for what’s coming next.
