A Spock Audition and a Bollywood Fantasy
IMDb rating: 8/10
This season is on a roll! Another hilarious episode that gets the best out of two very different characters.
Sheldon trying to learn acting from Penny is funny enough on its own, especially when he turns a simple exercise into something only Sheldon could come up with. Watching him struggle with a skill that has nothing to do with science is a delight.
But Raj's increasingly elaborate fantasies are just as good. His imagined future with Bernadette takes a wonderfully absurd turn, and the Bollywood-style song is the highlight for me. It is performed so well that the whole sequence becomes much funnier than it has any right to be.
Both plots work because they expose the difference between how these characters imagine themselves and how they actually behave.
8.5/10: Great comedy, with the entire episode firing on all cylinders.
