Looks like things are finally picking up a bit. Turning a messy public breakup in the dining room into a full-blown war between the guys and girls gave the episode some actual juice. The battle-of-the-sexes angle gets pretty ridiculous and hits a few exaggerated notes, but unlike the first two shifts, the jokes here actually land.
6/10: It is easily the funniest entry so far, ditching the flat gags for some quick, relatable back-and-forth between the staff.
The show still has a ways to go before it really nails its rhythm, but this gave me just enough genuine laughs to stick around for the next round.
