I absolutely loved seeing the town actually try to keep Kenny alive for once. The whole PSP and Best Friends Forever medallion scam is peak Cartman, and watching him exploit a vegetative state just to get a handheld console is atrociously funny.
I lost it when Archangel Michael just casually drops, “Basically, Kenny, you are Keanu Reeves,” followed immediately by “Japanese people don’t have souls!” It is that kind of unhinged, rapid-fire absurdity that keeps me coming back. The feeding tube debate could have been heavy, but the show brilliantly reduces it to a ridiculous “Kenny or tomato?” dilemma. I appreciate how the writers never take themselves seriously, even when tackling real-world media circuses.
8.5/10: It is sharp, personal, and exactly the kind of bold humour I expect from this show. It completely nails the satire.
