What a build-up to the finale! The episode delivers some excellent action, and the animation has visibly improved as the series has progressed. 8.5/10.
More importantly, the story is developing a surprising amount of depth and detail, with the twins’ past, the Anomaly and the political conflict in Ellora all coming together.
I particularly enjoyed how the different groups and characters are now caught up in the same crisis, with Jae, Agam, Kayoko and the White Lotus all playing important roles. The stakes feel genuinely high, and the final sequence with the twins inside the dome and their mother appearing is a terrific way to set up the conclusion.
Seven Havens has taken a while to find its identity, but the last few episodes have delivered the kind of layered storytelling, action and mythology I associate with the best of Avatar.
I genuinely cannot wait for the finale.
