Avatar: Seven Havens: S1.E13 The Root Chakra

A thoroughly satisfying finale that gets the balance just right. 8.5/10.

There is plenty of action, but the emotional revelations about the twins’ past give the story real weight. Pavi’s journey reaches a meaningful turning point, while the growing divide between the sisters adds an intriguing new dimension to their relationship. The episode also finds room for some humour without disrupting the tension.

The immediate crisis is resolved in a way that feels earned, but the writers wisely leave several questions unanswered, giving the story somewhere interesting to go in another season. The appearances of the past Avatars are a particularly welcome touch, connecting this new chapter to the franchise’s history.

Seven Havens S1 took a few episodes to find its feet, but the latter half of the season has built steadily towards this conclusion. It delivers on the promise of the series and leaves me genuinely eager for the next season.
