Ep 2 stretches out longer than it needs to. The hour keeps circling the same dark mood and setup without much forward pull.
I found myself waiting for something to land harder, but it mostly just sits in the tension. What keeps it from fully losing me is the acting.
Liev Schreiber and Stephen Graham still carry every scene they share. Their quiet intensity is the only real spark. Zazie Beetz also holds her own, but the story around them feels slow and stretched thin. By the end I was more aware of the runtime than hooked by what was happening. I’m still watching mainly for those performances, not because the plot has grabbed me. If the show keeps moving at this pace, it risks losing even that interest.
5.5/10: Solid work from the leads, but the episode itself felt like it went on too long without enough payoff.
