I found this Ep 5 a bit of a filler installment overall. While we get some legitimate plot progress with the leak and the late game intellectual property discovery, the runtime gets bogged down in endless talking and excessive side-explaining that drags down the pace.
Carla’s public talk show breakdown and Morgan’s awkward paparazzi dinner with Gabriel hit decent emotional notes, but they take too long to arrive at points the show already made. Sienna Miller and Dominic West continue to give strong performances despite the slower script, but the heavy exposition keeps things from truly taking off.
6.5/10: It feels like setup treading water before the courtroom trial finally kicks into high gear.
